From the moment Carlos and Stephanie first met on September 2nd in the MVP section of Rockin’ on the River, they knew there was something special between them. What began as a mutual introduction quickly blossomed into a deep and meaningful connection. That day marked the start of a remarkable journey together.

Their journey together has been filled with laughter, adventure, and countless cherished moments. They explored beautiful Puerto Rico, where they made unforgettable memories, and ventured to Nashville, where Stephanie brought out Carlos’ inner cowboy. They adore camping at Clay’s Park and relish day trips to surrounding cities, savoring delicious food and drinks along the way. Through these experiences and many more, they have grown together in ways they never imagined.

One of their most memorable moments was a five-day trip to Puerto Rico. Carlos and Stephanie stayed in the lovely city of Condado, where they enjoyed stunning views, delectable food, and immersed themselves in Puerto Rican culture. Highlights included a fascinating Bacardi Rum tour and vibrant nightlife. This trip offered them a much-needed retreat, allowing them to spend quality time together and grow even closer. It was a beautiful reminder of how perfectly they complement each other and strengthened their commitment to a future together.

The proposal was nothing short of a dream come true. The day began with the two of them enjoying a concert at the campground, but as night fell, Carlos was nervously preparing to ask Mr. Ciesla (Ken) for his daughters hand in marriage. Unbeknownst to Carlos, Ken was already aware of his intentions—thanks to Mrs. Ciesla’s inability to keep a secret!

As the concert drew to a close, Ken, growing increasingly impatient, turned to Carlos and said, “What are you waiting for?” Carlos, initially confused, didn’t grasp Ken’s meaning. When Ken insisted, “You know what I mean,” Carlos, still unsure, asked for clarification. Ken then said, “You have my blessing. You make her a better woman, and we are so glad you two found each other. I can see how happy she is since you came into her life and the kids adore you. Now, hurry up and ask her.”

With a huge sigh of relief and a touch of embarrassment, Carlos replied, “Thank you. I love her with all my heart.” That night, surrounded by the magic of the evening, Carlos proposed, saying, “I love your family, I love the kids, and I can’t imagine spending my life with anyone else. Will you marry me?” And so, the rest is history.
